Overview:
As part of the JMU University Recreation Center Marketing Team, I was responsible for event marketing and on-site content creation. My process included signing up for upcoming UREC events, developing a content plan for each (posts, videos, or stories), and preparing the necessary equipment for coverage.

Process:

Developed content strategies tailored to each event’s purpose and target audience.

Captured photos and videos on-site using Canon and Sony cameras.

Edited all visuals in Adobe Lightroom to maintain a cohesive and high-quality aesthetic.

Designed and published final content within the same week or shortly after each event.

Produced numerous high-performing social media posts with a strong engagement rate, helping boost event visibility and student participation through vibrant, authentic visual storytelling.
